We have had two more visits from people who will be able to have an influence on when and where our rebuild happens.
Michael Gove the MP for Surrey Heath and the Shadow Minister for Education visited in March and was very clear that he supported our need for a rebuild and has committed to taking some actions in relation to this.
Secondly we had a visit from Nick Wilson, Head of Schools in Surrey, along with Alison Braithwaite who is the Head of Estates and Planning. Both of these visitors have also given their full commitment to supporting our need for a rebuild. However, we need to keep our feet on the ground, we are continuing to struggle with finding possible sites for the rebuilding to happen and there are still significant issues at the county council level with where funding will come from when a site is found and a plan has been developed!
