School Uniform
School uniform plays a valuable role in contributing to the ethos of the school as an educational setting focussed on learning and sets an appropriate tone. It instils pride, supports positive behaviour and discipline, and encourages identity with the school. The change in uniform between Primary and Secondary helps pupils to understand the transition into the next stage of school life.
You can now place orders for your child's school uniform online.

We also have a limited stock of second hand uniform items - please contact the school office.
Uniform Requirements
The Portesbery School uniform is for all pupils in the school from Reception up to Year 11. Post 16 students are not required to wear uniform. The uniform is optional for nursery pupils.
We understand that some pupils have sensory or physical challenges that might make the wearing of school uniform more challenging. Please discuss any needs around uniform with your child’s teachers or SLT.
Please ensure that all items are clearly named.
